Facebook hits exam results by 20 per cent

Scary headline in the Telegraph Uk. We discussed this in class. Everyone agrees. Facebook takes your attention away from what you are supposed to be working on. Not only in class, but at home, at work, pretty much everywhere. And not only Facebook, but Skype, MSN, Twitter, Youtube, you name, it the temptations are there! Many articles have been written on this topic, but this article hits close to home. Who wants to score 20 % lower on exams? My students have written posts giving other students advice on the matter. Care to join in on the conversation? And we are not interested in hearing how you can close the site at school. Control is an illusion anyway!

Say no to yourself
Advice to fellow students!

  1. hi Im Matthew. are they banning facebook there. visit my blog

  2. Hi there, I am from Huzzah all the way in B.C! I don’t use facebook but my sister does. I don’t like it at all. One of my friends forgot to put on one of her personal settings and now it you put her name in on Google she comes up. I guess that’s why you have to be really careful about what you put on it. My parents told me that what you put on facebook will stay on the internet forever and it can effect your jobs and stuff in the future. Talk to you later (hopefully), bye.
