The introduction of PowerPoint in class isn’t necessarily the way to go when it comes to engaging the students! And it might be one of the most boring additions to teaching. José A. Bowen has a lot of interesting points in this interview. And even though it is about the universities I see a lot of similarities with high school students. Why not let them watch lectures and listen to podcasts as homework, and leave the intersting, fun stuff for class! Might be what it is all about!
