Every day, I’m inspired by the amazing progress being made around the world in the fight against poverty and disease. Even in the face of incredible difficulty and hardship, there are heroes who are showing us the best of human potential and improving the lives of millions in the process.

Through my work with the Gates Foundation, I get to connect with these people—scientists, educators, nurses, farmers, midwives, students, and advocates—and learn about what motivates them. Hands down, it’s the best part of my job. Bill Gates May 7th 2024
