We have a plan – for everyone, everywhere! #globalgoals


This September it will be two years since the #GlobalGoals were adopted by world leaders at the UN in New York. This year presents a perfect opportunity to see how we’re doing. We present to you: Goalkeepers in collaboration with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. A day of stories, drama and data around our progress to inspire more action to achieve the #GlobalGoals.

This week students in Norway are preparing for a visit to the United States to work on the 17 Global Goals together with students at Lindenhurst high school. The students will be talking to government representatives and participating in school activities. The goal is to involve young people in important issues. They are the future, our best chance of a sustainable future is to involve this generation. This is a relevant and engaging project and here is our plan to prepare:

Lesson plan

  1. Watch these videos, and look at the websites below.
  2. Use the material to come up with a plan for your group. Share your ideas on the Padlet below.
  3. Brainstorm in your group how to spread your ideas to others around the world.
  4. How do you propose to implement your plan?
  5. What are your goals and how do you visualize the outcome.
  6. Share this in a video on your blog.
