Collaboration, cooperation, and networking

Looking back on our line of conferences at Sandvika high school, it is exciting to see the topics we have covered, the guest speakers we have hosted and the diversity in nationalities. The school was established in 2006 and from year 1, 2007 we have hosted conferences with only a one-year exception. The main goal has always been to share good practice in the use of technology in school and to establish teacher networks. If I was to advise schools on how to move forward today I would say focus on networking for professional development, block scheduling for time to work on complex problems and have the students ask their own questions. Less lecturing – more learning together. Below is the list of presenters and topics. Next year we celebrate our 10 anniversary! Hope the next 10 years will be as exciting!
